I'm a wife, mama, and passionate wedding and lifestyle photographer located in North Bay, Ontario with a love for documenting moments that tell stories.
Growing up I always had an interest in photography, but my passion for it truly ignited when our daughter came into the world in 2019. Its amazing how parenthood can spark such creativity and passion (and fill your camera roll)! In 2021, I took a big leap of faith, and started ARK Photography by Rachael, with ARK holding such a special meaning as it represents the initials of my daughter, the reason where I am today in my photography journey.
When I'm behind my camera, I truly feel like I'm in my element. Its where I feel most in tune with my creative spirit, and makes my heart so incredibly happy. I absolutely love capturing the raw, unscripted, in between moments. Its within these moments that our personalities truly shine through, creating images that often hold the most beauty and authenticity that tell your unique story perfectly.
When I'm not behind the lens, you can find me embracing the beautiful chaos of life with my incredible husband, and our three little loves. Our weekends consist of whipping up lots of chocolate chip pancakes, dance parties in the living room to my husbands rock playlist, and looking for a new, wild adventure to tackle together.
